Our Lakeside Plastics traffic cone is a nominee in this year’s “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin” competition sponsored by the Wisconsin Manufacturers Commerce. This annual competition aims to highlight the state’s vibrant manufacturing industry which employs 1 in 6 Wisconsinites. We are proud to be among the products considered “cool” this year as there are so many unique and useful products that are truly, Something Special from Wisconsin.
You most likely see our traffic cones daily, so now is your chance to recognize and support their innate coolness. Voting for the first round of the competition is now open and runs from September 14th thru September 20th. This round will determine the Top 16 products and we would be honored to make it to that level. If we make the Top 16, another round of votes will narrow the field to the Top 8, then another, the Top 4. The eventual winner will be announced October 14th. How cool is that?
